Job Description

You wll be responsible for driving performance with our wholesale and franchise partners, whilst protecting the Greggs brand through effective management of the wholesale/ franchise relationships, acting as the link between the supply and packaging elements of the wholesale operation. Looks at initiatives for new wholesale products.

Managing the Franchise Planning processes, you will ensure that stores are opened and supported in line with the standard process, allocating appropriate resource to the plan, whilst offering support to the Central franchise team on specific business driving initiatives

This role will focus on:

  • Customer Focus– holds responsibility for the management of wholesale contact between Greggs and our wholesale partners, as well as managing the planning process of new store openings and audit activity
  • Operational- to coordinate the effective communication between our wholesale/ franchise partners and the wider business. To implement any new wholesale and franchise initiatives.
  • Team- to help develop a high performing support team within Greggs and to work closely with indirect reports based at the Seaham site. To make sure the team is focused on great customer service to our wholesale and franchise partners, whilst protecting the Greggs brand at all times
  • Standards - accountable for brand protection/standards with our major wholesale partner. To support SHE aspects involving wholesale and to manage the wholesale In-Store POS and packaging, in conjunction with our Brand Team and in line with the Greggs brand guidelines.
  • Sales – accountable for the delivery of Greggs budget wholesale sales target, and delivery and development of profitable sales across wholesale, in line with business plan requirements
  • Profit – accountable for Greggs wholesale margin requirements, in conjunction with wholesale business plan requirements/budget

Skills

  • Knowledge of the Greggs savoury operation
  • Highly numerate with good Computer skills, especially in Excel
  • An ability to project manage one-off projects and to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills supported with good written skills
  • Experience of managing internal teams and external partners relationships
  • Strong organisation and planning skills with an ability to multi-task, work at pace, and meet challenging deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural talent to network and build relationships both internally and externally
  • Good attention to detail with an ability to proof read accurately
  • Flexible approach to working
