An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Shop Support Team as an Advisor providing shop teams with a first rate support service, always putting our customers at the heart of everything we do.

This would be on a Part Time(20 hours per week, 5pm until 9pm 5 out of 7 days), Permanent basis - based at Greggs House in Quorum Business Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Salary

£19,542.21 pro rata

Shift Pattern and Contracted Hours

20 hours per week, 5pm until 9pm 5 out of 7 days. We would need to cover 5 days Monday-Saturday initially, possibly Sundays in the future. 

What you'll do

Responsibilities;

  • Acting as part of a central point of contact hub for all operational issues received from shop teams by the phone or via our online systems
  • Providing notifications and updates for events such as product shortages, system issues and short date codes
  • Helping to create an enthusiastic and positive culture focused on driving up service levels and tackling the root cause of issues
  • Following provided scripts and guidance and contributing to improving escalation routes
  • Supporting the retail team with crisis management and emergency responses such as amending shop trading times and carrying out aspects of the product withdrawal process

About you

  • Previous experience of team working(desirable)
  • A warm and friendly approach and great communication skills
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment(desirable)
  • Proficient in MS Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous retail experience(desirable)
