Circa £26,000 depending on experience (pro-rata)

Shift Pattern and Contracted Hours

This role will be for 35 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days, between the hours of 8am - 7pm Monday - Friday, and 9am - 5pm Saturday and Sunday.

What you will do

As Team Leader you will be responsible for leading, supporting and developing the team to ensure the first-class provision of an efficient people and recruitment service for a retail region.

This will be a very demanding role, requiring the ability to build and maintain good relationships within a team, strong organisational skills, and the ability to stay calm and focused despite a challenging workload.

Key Accountabilities

  • Working with the existing Team Leaders to supervise the team on a day to day basis
  • Supporting the team and acting as their first point of contact for queries and other issues
  • Providing individual members of the team with training and development support
  • Addressing any areas of non-compliance, inconsistent practices or poor performance and providing assistance to rectify these within appropriate timescales

About you

  • Previous team management and line management experience
  • A strong team player, able to build good working relationships at all levels
  • Able to demonstrate a proven desire for excellence in customer service
  • Able to lead by example to quickly gain trust and respect both within the team and with others inc.
  • Proven high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience of, and ability to multi-task and work with multiple priorities calmly and at pace
  • Strong skills in planning, prioritising and organising
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience of People transactional processes
