We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our team at Balliol, Balliol Business Park, Benton Lane, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE12 8EW on a Full Time and Permanent basis.

Salary

£24,404 per annum

Shift pattern

42 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7am to 3.30pm Friday 7am to 3pm

About you

You’ll fit right in at Greggs as a Maintenance Planner if you:

  • Are skilled in Excel / Word and experienced with Computer based planning systems (Agility / SAP)
  • Have experience with and are able to comply with SHE Management Systems, Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, Isolation & Lock-out, Permits to Work, PPE
  • Ensure activities comply with agreed Food Safety standards, including adherence to Plant Release Procedures
  • Are experienced in managing PPM systems on a daily basis. You’ll be allocating jobs to engineers based on resource and equipment available
  • Experience in maintaining forward planning cycles, ensuring parts are ordered and available on time
  • Skilled in managing PPM tasks to completion, reviewing engineering feedback and raising required actions to close out
  • Have experience at managing contractors, when required for PPM tasks; planning, raising orders and completing accounts
  • Are enthusiastic and capable of driving continuous improvement of the system functionality and have a problem-solving mentality
  • Understand the importance of following company policies and procedures (including IT/Social Media)
  • You are supportive of an inclusive culture – recognising and valuing that difference is good.

What you'll do

Organise and prioritise the planned maintenance work for the site Production Engineering team. Developing detailed works plans and mange spare parts needed to enable safe and on time completion of PPM tasks. Manage the allocation of these to Engineering & external contractors where required and ensure completion.

Have an adaptive and proactive approach to adjust plans to meet business need and resource level and ensure task are completed.

Support Maintenance Manager in development of the Site PPM system and maintenance of the site layout and asset structure.

Working collaboratively within the Engineering team in a professional and efficient manner, including Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager/Supervisor, Team Members and other departments.
