Forming a key part of the Business Service Team within the IT/Business Change Department, the Supply Chain Functional Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Supply Chain Greggs Systems.

Work Pattern

Mainly Monday to Friday but as a fast-moving supply chain operation there is a requirement for flexibility at other times. 

Job Description

Reporting to the Supply Chain Functional Manager, they will work closely with other support teams, Operations and IT as a whole, but also work closely with business stakeholders around the business to better understand their support requirements 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing 2nd level functional support to Greggs stakeholders for Supply Chain users, in particular the below business areas:-
      • Warehouse Management
      • Logistics
      • Distribution
  • Understanding internal customer’s requirements
  • Resolving complex problems and issues using knowledge and understanding of the business
  • Design, configure, test and implement the Stakeholders requirements
  • Managing functional project delivery and providing project management expertise across all concepts
  • Working collaboratively with other members of the IT support team
  • Liaising with external Support providers where required
  • Participating and helping to drive business requirement gathering and creating support documentation
  • Ensuring consistent application of best in class practices of support across all Greggs SAP environments


Knowledge in one or more of Supply Chain systems including SAP

  • Attention to detail, curiosity around systems and solutions, demonstrated excellence in understanding and using existing solutions
  • Confident communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to influence at all levels
  • An ability to learn quickly and thrive under pressure
